Job summary

ERM seeks a Consultant, Remediation and Demolition Site Lead to join the Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will lead field activities across remediation, demolition, and related projects, driving safety, scheduling, and client coordination.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, engineering or related degree, and 3+ years of project experience with extensive travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field, or related science, with 3+ years of project experience; equivalency considered.
Experience in heavy construction, demolition, or remediation project execution and safety leadership.
Strong commitment to safety and ability to implement health and safety protocols.
Willingness to travel up to 75% of time, including international travel.
Pass a background check and drug screening; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Lead remediation, construction, decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition field activities.
Oversee contractor performance and ensure safety compliance on-site.
Plan, manage schedules, and coordinate project documentation and reporting.
Support client engagement, proposals, and project contracting activities.
Act as Field Safety Officer and maintain Health & Safety Plans on projects.
Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
