Job summary

Charter Construction in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Lead Mitigation Technician to oversee water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation projects from start to finish, upholding IICRC standards and company safety practices.

You will lead field crews, coordinate with homeowners and project managers, document moisture readings and progress, and train technicians to deliver compassionate, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mitigation, restoration, or related field (preferred).
• IICRC WRT certification preferred.
• Proficiency with mobile apps or job-tracking software (e.g., Dash, Xactimate).

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation services.
• Assess damages, determine scope of work, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain mitigation equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, scrubbers).
• Ensure work complies with IICRC standards and company protocols.
• Guide and train technicians in mitigation techniques, equipment usage, and safety.
• Assign daily tasks and oversee productivity and workflow on job sites.
