Job summary

Charter Construction seeks a Lead Mitigation Technician in Portland, OR to oversee water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation projects from start to finish. You will coordinate field crews, communicate with homeowners and project managers, and ensure work meets IICRC standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include performing mitigation tasks, training technicians, documenting moisture readings and progress, and supporting estimating with on-site information.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation services.
• Assess damages, determine scope of work, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain mitigation equipment and tools.
• Ensure work complies with IICRC standards and company protocols.
• Guide and train technicians in mitigation techniques and safety.
• Assign tasks and oversee productivity on job sites.
