Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead mobile equipment maintenance across mining operations on site. You will supervise field staff, contractors, and trades to ensure maintenance is performed safely, on time, and within budget. A strong focus on safety culture and KPI achievement is required.

You will spend significant time in the field, driving continuous improvement, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and deploying key maintenance initiatives to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance General Foreman or higher in heavy industrial/mining settings.
• 2+ years of experience managing maintenance budgets and cost controls.
• 2+ years overseeing maintenance scheduling and workflow functions.
• Experience with Zero-Based Budgeting and equipment reliability programs.
• Strong safety record with ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of mobile equipment maintenance to meet standards and KPIs.
• Manage field staff, contractors, and trades to complete projects safely and on time.
• Spend 40–60% of time in the field engaging crews and reinforcing safety.
• Oversee deployment of initiatives and cross-team communications.
• Maintain safe work environment through systems, training, and supervision.
• Drive cost performance including monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and budget accountability.
• Oversee contractor management and adherence to control policies.
• Collaborate to meet and exceed monthly maintenance targets.
