Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead Mobile Equipment maintenance for mining projects. The role emphasizes safety, KPI achievement, budget adherence and strong field leadership with significant time spent onsite and in the field across Idaho projects.

Expectations include developing and deploying maintenance standards, supervising field staff and contractors, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget while promoting Ledcor's safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Maintenance General Foreman level or higher in heavy industry.
• 2+ years experience managing maintenance budgets.
• 2+ years management of the maintenance scheduling and workflow function.
• Experience with Zero-Based Budgeting systems and processes.
• Experience managing or supervising an equipment reliability program.
• A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
• Ability to adapt information and communication style to the audience.
• Familiar with mining/heavy civil/infrastructure construction methodology and practices.

Responsibilities

• Safety performance of the Maintenance Department.
• Meet or exceed established KPI's (leading and lagging indicators).
• Ensure deployment of key initiatives and communication of relevant messages to all maintenance crews at site.
• Promote, deploy, and comply with Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures across Ledcor and Maintenance.
• Spend significant time in the field – 60–80% of working time.
• Provide employees with a safe and healthy work environment with safe systems of work and training.
• Develop systems to ensure monthly targets are met.
• Accountable for maintenance cost performance including monthly forecast and variance analysis.
