Job summary

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Site Supervisor to lead field crews in environmental remediation and heavy civil work on projects around the Chattanooga, TN area. You will coordinate daily site activities, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

You will act as the primary on-site liaison to the Project Manager, review activities against plans, and prepare routine field reports. Travel to other project locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as Construction Site Supervisor or similar field leadership role.
• Experience in environmental remediation and heavy civil construction preferred.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily field activities on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily field activities for on-site employees and subcontractors.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for the Project Manager regarding progress, schedule, staffing, safety, quality, and field issues.
• Review work activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain project schedule by planning daily work and coordinating resources.
• Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly field reports including labor, equipment, and safety documentation.
• Track employee time and verify field quantities and subcontractor work.
• Support project cost control by monitoring productivity and reviewing invoices.
• Enforce safety practices and lead tailgate safety meetings.
• Identify and resolve routine field issues; elevate safety, quality, scope, schedule, or personnel concerns as needed.
• Travel to other project locations as business needs require.
