Job summary

SES is seeking a field survey/engineering professional to perform construction layout, GPS control, and site work across civil, utility, and demolition projects in Ohio. You will operate Topcon and total station equipment, read complex drawings, and coordinate with foremen and project managers to keep work accurate and on schedule.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in construction layout, surveying, or field engineering (civil, site work, or utility construction preferred).
• Strong GPS. Topcon GPS/Total Station experience a plus.
• Ability to read civil/utility drawings and construction plans.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Familiarity with Topcon Office, Carlson IntelliCAD, Pix4D, Agtek, or Bluebeam a plus.
• Drone pilot license/mapping experience a plus.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Construction Management preferred, but equivalent field experience is welcome.

About the Role
