Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking a Field Sales Rep - City Launch & Merchant Success on a contract basis to support Neighborhoods launch markets. The role is a 6-month contract with field-based work, traveling locally within ~100 miles of your assigned market, and four days on the field plus one remote/admin day.

You will build relationships with local merchants, lead onboarding and trainings, host community events, and relay merchant feedback to Product and Go-to-Market teams to shape future

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in merchant success, hospitality, field operations, community management, training, account management, retail, restaurant operations, or other customer-facing roles.
• Able to build authentic relationships quickly and work independently in entrepreneurial environments.
• Willing to lead trainings, workshops, and educate customers in an engaging way.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Neighborhoods in your city, building relationships with local merchants.
• Spend days in the field visiting businesses, helping them launch and succeed.
• Own the field launch lifecycle from pre-launch readiness through activation-day support and post-launch follow-up.
• Host workshops, events, office hours, and other methods to engage the local merchant community.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and GTM teams to execute city launches and expansion.
• Gather feedback, identify challenges, and advocate for program improvements.
• Monitor merchant engagement and adoption, helping businesses maximize success.
• Develop repeatable playbooks and training materials scalable to future cities.
