Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy invites applications for a Laborer to support our renewable energy projects on the Big Island. The role involves a variety of manual tasks, from trenching to material handling, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Candidates should be able to perform physically demanding work in diverse conditions, follow instructions in English, and comply with PPE and site policies. Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding tasks in varied weather; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior construction or labor experience preferred but not required.
• Must understand and follow English instructions; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches, move materials, and clear work areas.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with tools and site prep.
• Load/unload materials from trucks.
• Operate small hand and power tools as trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and dispose waste.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Follow directions from supervisors and leads.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties to support project needs.
