Job summary

ADB is seeking a general laborer to perform tasks involving physical labor both indoors and outdoors, moving materials, operating hand and power tools, and assisting craft workers on project sites. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass HAZWOPER physical and respirator fit tests.

Occasional pre-employment background checks apply. Work may include driving between locations, packing, loading, and supporting safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or better.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of construction machines and tools; includes their designs, uses, repair and maintenance, and the practical application of use.
• Ability to pass HAZWOPER physical and respirator fit test.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Locates and moves materials, equipment and parts between work areas of project location/site to expedite processing of goods, according to schedules and priorities.
• General knowledge in the use of manual and power hand tools.
• Locating underground utilities with a shovel and working in confined spaces.
• Capable of operating all-terrain vehicles and assisting heavy equipment operators as ground support.
• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide manual labor support for project activities and site location.
