Bobit Business Media is seeking hardworking Construction Laborers to support underground utility and site work. This hands-on role involves trenching, grading, material handling, and assisting pipe crews.

Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. Responsibilities include digging trenches, setting trench grades, loading materials, assisting pipe layers, and coordinating with equipment operators.

• Construction or labor experience preferred (utilities a plus).
• Ability to read basic plans or willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and ditches; backfill and compact soil to grade.
• Shovel and rake asphalt and assist with site prep.
• Set and maintain trench grades using hand tools.
• Load, unload, and distribute materials on job sites.
• Assist pipe layers with alignment, layout, and installation.
• Signal equipment operators for safe movement of machinery and materials.
• Help install pipe systems, fittings, and restraints (PVC, ductile iron).
• Set trench boxes and work safely in excavations.
• Follow plans, cut sheets, and supervisor instructions.
