Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Technician in Elkridge, MD, to join the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization Team. The role supports installation, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic communication equipment at customer sites and labs.

You will analyze product implementations, work with engineers, and contribute to technical publications and procedures while maintaining safety and compliance with a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years’ experience in an electronic/technical field or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience.
• Experience with computers, test applications, PC maintenance, network requirements, TCP/IP or other protocols, and small computer or network administration.
• Experience with reading engineering drawings and schematics; troubleshooting down to component level.
• Experience with networks, network protocols, and computer system administration; wiring, assembling and testing LRUs and SRUs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements per customer specifications.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic communication equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems remotely and in field environments; recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers, Program Managers, and executives; develop and modify technical publications and procedures.
• Plan, layout, develop, and construct experimental devices and test equipment; work with limited information.
