Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a national client base. Responsibilities include OS installations, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and extensive structured cabling across buildings.

You will work in diverse environments—retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate—while maintaining professionalism and meeting on-call requirements. The role offers on-site paid hourly compensation, 1099 contractor status, travel pay within an ~80-mile radius, app-based time

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• 1 year of IT/Telecom experience with one of: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within territory.
