Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to install OS, diagnose hardware, and configure software at diverse client sites nationwide. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks with hands-on field work across multiple environments.

Ideal candidates have IT/Telecom experience, relevant certifications, and a customer-focused approach. On-site work, travel within territory, and on-call duties are required. Flexible compensation applies for a 1099 contractor.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the listed certs or 5+ years field experience.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within territory.
