Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks hands-on I.T. or Telecom technicians to support a national client base. The role involves OS installs, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments from retail to medical facilities. Travel and on-call duties are part of the job.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience, plus relevant certifications. On-site, 1099 contractor with travel pay benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following certifications or 5+ years of field experience.
• A+ Certification or Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients; be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
