Job summary

The AME Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to support clients in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas. You will perform on-site and remote IT support, handling desktops, laptops, servers, networking gear, and peripherals with a strong emphasis on customer experience.

Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, patch management, thorough documentation, and proactive communication with clients. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Proven IT support or field service experience.
Strong Windows OS and basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues independently.
Exceptional attention to detail in documenting work and following through.
Customer-first attitude with professional communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for client-site travel.
Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, printers, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and patch management for client environments.
Document all work in the ticketing system with attention to detail.
Communicate clearly with clients and keep them informed throughout the process.
Manage time and prioritize across multiple client sites.
Collaborate with remote support and escalation teams to resolve issues.
Represent The AME Group professionally with a customer-first mindset.
