Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an IT Technician, reporting to the Project IT Field Lead, to join the IT team at the project construction site near Brownsville. The role focuses on end-user and infrastructure IT support for site and field offices, including devices, network access, and collaboration tools.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years (or 6–9 years) of relevant experience, with strong communication and IT infrastructure knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination with project teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of major IT infrastructure systems and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user and infrastructure IT support at the project site and field offices.
• Imaging and provisioning Bechtel computers, mobile devices and 2FA.
• Assist in network deployment and patching as offices expand.
• Manage IT assets in ServiceNow and stockrooms.
• Develop IT reports, dashboards and automated workflows.
