Job summary

S&G Stores is hiring an IT Field Technician to support technology across various retail and fuel locations in Ohio. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance of network systems. Candidates should have experience in IT support and networking, along with strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required. Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues independently.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site IT support across store locations based on incoming tickets.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Support Windows environments including user accounts and devices.
• Assist with basic server and domain‑related tasks.
• Install and maintain security camera systems.
• Troubleshoot POS systems and back‑office PCs.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure systems remain operational and minimize downtime.
