Job summary

VVS Canteen is seeking a qualified IT Technician to join our home office team in Cozad. You will support internal accounts and customer sites, focusing on CCTV systems, networking, and POS-related equipment.

The role requires hands-on IT skills, travel as needed, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while maintaining inventory and documentation. Ongoing training and technology upgrades are expected as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in network equipment and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with IP routing, network addressing, and wireless protocols.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and operation.
• Ability to diagnose tech issues and provide solutions.
• Willingness to work from a ladder and travel as needed.
• On-call telephone support capability.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to provide fast, efficient service for internal and customer accounts.
• Assess surveillance needs and design effective solutions.
• Program and provision CCTV camera systems and peripherals.
• Install networking equipment and peripherals for POS operations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network and camera issues.
• Learn and operate multiple software programs as needed.
• Manage inventory and assist with camera servers.
