Job summary

Onward Technology is seeking an in-person IT support professional based in Moab, Utah. The role focuses on troubleshooting desktop hardware/software, maintaining large-scale networks, and providing reliable technical assistance to clients across the state.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT troubleshooting, field wifi/cabling experience, and AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP familiarity. This full-time position includes a signing bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least two years of IT troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently to in-state clients in Utah.
• Preference for field experience with WiFi and cabling deployments.
• Preference for basic network administration experience.
• Preference for printer installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Preference for imaging with WDS.
• Preference for Ethernet terminations and 66 block cross-connection.
• Preference for Active Directory management (AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP).
• Preference for deploying firewalls, content filters, switches, and wireless access points.
• Preference for basic PBX management experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
• Help manage and maintain large-scale networks.
• Solve evolving IT challenges from the front line.
• Support clients with reliable, responsive technical assistance.
• Travel regularly to serve customers across Utah.
