Focal Pointe Of St Louis is seeking an Irrigation Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair irrigation systems on residential and commercial sites in Oklahoma City. This outdoor role requires hands-on problem solving and precise work.

Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and travel up to 30% within the service territory. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior irrigation, landscaping, or related field experience preferred.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of soil types, vegetation, and water requirements is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Irrigation certification (industry-recognized) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues including leaks, electrical faults, controller failures, and damaged components.
• Perform seasonal start-ups, system winterizations, and routine system tune-ups.
• Install and repair irrigation components including sprinkler heads, valves, piping, and controllers.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize system performance and water efficiency.
• Conduct system inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Dig trenches and access underground piping as needed for repairs and installations.
• Map irrigation zones and ensure proper system coverage and functionality.
• Load, inspect, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for daily work.
• Complete service reports, documentation, and work orders accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Focal Pointe management regarding system status, repairs, and recommendations.
• Work across a variety of job sites, including large commercial properties and residential locations.
• Travel up to 30% within the service territory
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
