Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking an Inventory Auditor to verify merchandise and cash across company stores. You will conduct physical counts with handheld devices, identify price discrepancies, and pull out-of-code merchandise to keep inventory accurate.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and occasional overnight travel. A high school diploma or GED is preferred and a valid driver’s license with insurance is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store environment preferred.
• Requires a valid driver’s license with current liability auto insurance; no major offenses.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld device.
• Notifies the store manager of wrong prices and removes out-of-code merchandise.
• Counts and records cash, checks and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes and safe.
• Verifies money orders and lottery ticket inventory.
• Verifies gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Works safely by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Performs multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
