Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. seeks an Inventory Auditor to verify merchandise and cash across stores. You will perform physical counts using handheld devices, report pricing discrepancies, and ensure compliance with procedures in a fast-paced retail setting.

Independent work with occasional overnight travel is required; a valid driver's license and prior convenience-store inventory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count with a handheld device.
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
• Counts and records cash, checks and food stamps in registers and safes.
• Verifies money orders, lottery inventory and bank deposits.
• Verifies gasoline inventory; adheres to safety and procedural standards.
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
