Job summary

NORC at the University of Chicago is seeking a Field Data Collector to conduct in-person interviews in respondents' homes and support research across health, education, and policy topics. The role emphasizes independence, accuracy, and meeting diverse participants in various settings.

Ideal candidates work evenings/weekends on a part-time basis (20–25 hours/week), are self-starters, and may be bilingual (Spanish/English). Housing and devices will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be available for part-time schedule (20–25 hours per week) including evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable contacting people in-person at their homes, often with little notice.
• Must reside within 100 miles of the posted location in Wyandot, OH.
• Ability to use company-provided devices and apps for notes and communications.

Responsibilities

• Gain cooperation of respondents to complete surveys while remaining neutral and objective.
• Document responses accurately and in a timely manner.
