Job summary

NORC at the University of Chicago is seeking Field Data Collectors to conduct in-person interviews in respondents' homes and collect data for public policy research. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage flexible, part-time schedules, primarily evenings and weekend hours.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are strongly encouraged, with experience in sales, hospitality, marketing, canvassing, teaching, or customer service preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) recommended.
• Comfortable making cold contacts by phone and in person.
• Able to work evenings and weekends in a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Gain cooperation of respondents to complete surveys.
• Maintain neutral and objective communication with respondents.
