Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a civil/structural related program.
• Interest in transportation, construction, surveying, or public infrastructure.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, take initiative, and own your work.
• Strong communication and a dependable, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Support field teams on transportation and public infrastructure projects.
• Assist with construction observation, field measurements, materials sampling and testing, surveying support, and project documentation.
• Collect and document field data, quantities, photographs, and daily construction activities.
• Learn to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction requirements.
• Use field equipment, technology, and software under guidance of experienced team members.
• Communicate professionally with engineers, contractors, agencies, and project partners.
• Follow project safety requirements and contribute to a safe, organized environment.
• Travel regularly to North Dakota project locations, including overnight field assignments.
