Job summary

Experitec is seeking a Field Service Technician to support instrumentation services across manufacturing facilities. The role emphasizes calibration, troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation systems, with a company vehicle and tools provided.

The position requires travel to customer sites, strong safety awareness, and collaboration with Sales to maximize service opportunities. A hands‑on, customer‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent with two or more years of relevant experience OR similar combination of education and/or experience.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Two or more years of experience with installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, modifying, overhauling, diagnosing, testing and/or maintaining instrumentation and instrument systems, pumps, motors, motor control and electrical systems, PLC, and/or DCS.

Responsibilities

• Performing on-site field services including instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, start-up and commissioning.
• Documenting site visit and calibration data and producing reports.
• Recommending repair, replacement, and upgrade approaches.
• Providing on-the-job training and communicating customer needs to the organization.
• Traveling to customer sites within the service territory 10-35% of the time and ensuring safety compliance.
