Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Field Engineer for our Casa Grande, AZ facility. This hands-on role focuses on instrumentation, sensors, automation, and process control systems, supporting installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and improvements.

You will review designs, specifications, and vendor docs, collaborate with vendors and operations, and assist in startup and commissioning to ensure safe, reliable plant performance. 2+ years in related fields preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of instrumentation, electrical, controls, or automation experience in chemical manufacturing.
Hands-on field engineering experience with instrumentation and control systems.
Ability to read P&IDs, instrument specifications, and vendor drawings.

Responsibilities

Review instrumentation designs, specs, P&IDs and control system docs.
Assist installation, commissioning, startup, and maintenance activities.
Perform field inspections and instrument calibration.
Troubleshoot instrumentation and control equipment and assist with safety compliance.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and operations to minimize downtime.
