Williams Distributing is hiring a Construction Laborer / Field Installer – Training Provided. No prior fireplace or construction experience is required; we provide hands-on training to get you started in a skilled trade.

This full-time role offers steady, year-round work, local travel between job sites, a company vehicle for travel, and opportunities to grow within the Hearth team. You will learn to install fireplaces and venting systems in new homes with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• No fireplace or construction experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under the company plan.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install fireplaces, venting systems in new homes.
• Service and troubleshoot installed units during training.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts and scaffolding.
• Read installation manuals and follow codes and manufacturer specs.
• Travel between local sites in company vehicle and report via mobile device.
• Communicate professionally with builders, customers and team members.
