Job summary

Rite Rug Flooring is seeking a Field Representative to oversee flooring installations in new construction homes. You’ll act as the eyes and ears in the field, ensuring homes are ready for installation and that installers have what they need to complete work on schedule.

Our Cranberry Township office supports field activities and project coordination. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to read plans, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or flooring preferred.
• Ability to read plans and identify jobsite issues.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Field measure homes and verify flooring quantities.
• Inspect homes before installation to ensure they are ready for flooring.
• Identify and report jobsite issues such as framing, subfloor, or plumbing problems.
• Visit jobs during installation to support installers and resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate with builder project managers regarding job status and delays.
• Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy.
• Help coordinate materials when shortages occur.
• Assist with service inspections in occupied homes when needed.
