Location: The technician can be based anywhere in the U.S. but must be willing to travel 100% to our customers.

Tires as a Service (TaaS), a new initiative brought to you by Goodyear, is looking to hire skilled mechanical installers to join our team! As a technician, you'll work independently, providing top-notch service to our customers. Punctuality is essential, and we will provide comprehensive training and all necessary tools.

We offer a competitive starting salary of $80,000 annually, based on experience. The role requires 100% travel, including both air and car travel, Monday through Friday.

About the Role: What will you do?

1. Perform installation of telematic devices and tire inflation systems on commercial vehicles.
2. Collaborate with the Customer Service Delivery team for hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
3. Train service providers on sensor and telematics installations and oversee outsourced activities.
4. Manage hardware receipt, storage, and registration or scanning.
5. Travel 100% of the time, including air and car travel, Monday through Friday.
6. Have 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical installation/repair on tractor trailers, including:
   1. Working with low voltage electrical systems (12-24V).
   2. Mechanical tasks like drilling, fastening, and torquing.
   3. Tire maintenance and working with commercial vehicle systems.
   4. Knowledge of vehicle systems like TPMS, ABS, ATIS, and OBD-II.
