Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of customer equipment in the field. You will ensure service quality, safety, and timely completion while supporting customers and colleagues.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–5 years’ related repair experience on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• DOT medical exam passed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain, and install customer equipment in the field to meet customer expectations and Rite-Hite’s service standards.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations reflecting Rite-Hite’s image and commitment to service.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform field service tasks with teamwork when needed and guide less experienced technicians.
• Complete all paperwork on handheld devices or paper accurate service tickets, timesheets, and safety forms.
• Follow DOT and vehicle safety guidelines and communicate with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction.
