Job summary

Arbon Equipment Corporation, a Rite-Hite Company, seeks a Service Technician to inspect, repair, and install customer equipment in the field. You will build strong customer relations and uphold Rite-Hite’s service standards while complying with safety guidelines.

The role involves operating service vehicles and field tools, training others as needed, and occasional travel. A high school diploma or GED and 1–5 years of repair experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–5 years experience in repair and service of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass DOT medical exam.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints & schematics, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain, and install customer equipment in the field.
• Exceed customer expectations and uphold Rite-Hite’s service image.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform field service installation, inspection, and repair; train others as skills develop.
• Accurately complete service tickets, timesheets, and safety forms.
• Operate service vehicle and equipment per DOT standards.
• Occasional domestic overnight travel (up to 20%) for training or support.
• Collaborate with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction.
