Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a Field Installation Technician I in the Boise, ID area to support installation and preparation of semiconductor pedestal systems across the U.S. and internationally.

The role involves up to 80% travel, hands-on field work, and collaboration with customers, installation teams, and internal staff to ensure precise mounting and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
• Experience working in field service, installation, or technical support.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to read and follow installation procedures and technical instructions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite technical support during receipt, installation, and preparation of pedestal systems.
• Assist customers with proper installation procedures and best practices.
• Ensure accurate placement and mounting of pedestals and seismic restraints per requirements.
• Participate in pre-installation site surveys and project planning.
• Verify installation quality and support testing preparations.
• Identify installation issues and escalate as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in semiconductor fabs and cleanrooms.
• Maintain installation records and project reports.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and manage itineraries.
• Support project closeout activities and documentation.
