Job summary

AT&T in Carson City, NV is hiring Installation Technicians to install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at residential and commercial sites. You will work independently in customers’ homes and small businesses, solving problems and delivering top-notch service daily.

Typical duties include ladder work, wiring identification, and the activation of networks. A valid driver’s license, a High School Diploma or GED, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime

Qualifications

Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Lift and move up to 60 lbs.
Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
Identify wire and cable colors.
Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Install and activate state-of-the-art technology for high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers' homes and businesses.
Work independently as a trusted expert to meet new people daily and solve problems.
Assist customers in the setup and activation process and ensure satisfaction after installation.
