Job summary

Protective is seeking an Installer (StarGard) to service dealerships, perform program installations, repairs, and maintenance while diagnosing issues. The role requires driving to multiple locations, ensuring accurate installations, and maintaining documentation of work performed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license, and prior field service experience. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Prior experience as a field service technician.
• Proficient use of tools: Wire Crimper, Wire Stripper, Power Drill, Automotive Multimeter/Voltmeter, Bit Set for Panel Removals.
• Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Checks T-Sheet calendar daily for scheduled appointments.
• Reports to dealers per assigned schedule.
• Picks up keys at dealership for opening vehicle installation.
• Moves vehicles as needed for installation.
• Ensures proper installation to avoid errors.
• Communicates installation schedules to dealer management.
• Keeps lot at 100% completion with program installs (by Friday).
• Communicates failed installations to dealer management and home office.
• Labels and tracks all vehicles.
• Maintains professional appearance and wears company uniform.
