Job summary

Protective is seeking an Installer (StarGard) to service specific dealerships with installations, repairs, and maintenance. You will diagnose issues, pick up keys, and ensure flawless program installations while coordinating with dealers and home office.

This role requires travel to dealer sites, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Competitive hourly pay plus incentives and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Prior experience as a field service technician.
• Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Checks T-Sheet calendar daily for scheduled appointments.
• Reports to the dealers per assigned schedule.
• Picks up keys at dealership for the purpose of opening a vehicle for installation.
• Moves vehicles if parked in a tight space with limited access for installation.
• Ensures proper installation of program to avoid installation errors.
• Communicates with dealer management regarding installation schedules.
• Keeps lot at 100% completion with program installs.
• Communicates to dealer management and home office regarding failed installations.
• Labels and tracks all vehicles properly.
• Always maintains a professional appearance and wears company uniform.
