Job summary

AT&T, located in North Canton, Ohio, is seeking an Installation Technician to deliver high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer sites. You’ll install, connect and activate cutting-edge technology, serving as the frontline expert for reliable connectivity.

Starting pay ranges per hour with benefits including health coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, and more. The role requires flexible scheduling, a valid license, and physical ability to lift heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – ladders can weigh 50–60 lbs; ensure ladder safety (weigh <325 lbs).
• Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Work as a trusted expert, meeting new people daily while solving problems and delivering great service.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during installations and activations.
