Job summary

Bureau Veritas Commodities and Trade Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking an Inspector (Industrial Minerals) to perform field inspections, weighing, and sampling of metals and minerals for clients.

You will travel to project sites and represent the company and client professionally. The role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work in the field.
• Experience with inspecting, weighing and sampling dry bulk minerals is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document results clearly and timely.

Responsibilities

• Attend locations to carry out and supervise inspection, weighing and sampling of commodities as directed.
• Represent Bureau Veritas and the contracting client professionally.
• Carry out inspections/verification by visual and mechanical methods as directed.
• Adhere to internal safety and IT practices.
• Sample and/or supervise sampling of representative analytical samples from materials.
• Receive, sign for, and dispatch samples as needed.
• Produce time logs within 24 hours of sampling/inspection.
• Perform duties relevant to Metals & Minerals Division as directed.
