Job summary

The role requires observing work, recording data, and reporting findings to the project team. The position requires 2+ years of relevant experience, ACI Grade I, NAQTC density certification, OSHA 10-hour, and valid license consent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in quality control or construction materials testing.
• ACI Grade I certification is required.
• NAQTC Sampling & Density certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction certification is required.
• ICC certifications in Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed Concrete and Masonry are preferred.
• Experience in observation, field testing and reporting.
• Proficient with construction materials testing equipment and methods.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation to ensure work follows approved plans and specs.
• Conduct inspections and field-materials testing (soil compaction, concrete strength, asphalt density).
• Record daily results and communicate findings to project management.
• Prepare and organize test reports for various construction phases.
• Maintain equipment and calibrate to ensure accurate readings.
