Job summary

Real Property Management Preferred in Houston is seeking a Field Inspector to support property maintenance and inspections across the area. You will visit vacant properties, document condition, and help prepare homes for occupancy.

Ideal candidates work independently, drive legally, and communicate well with maintenance teams. The role offers daytime hours, competitive pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in vacant properties across the Houston area.
• Proven ability to measure and review reports.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Work hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Visits vacant properties to conduct walkthroughs, install lockboxes and lease signs.
• Assess vacant properties after contractor repairs to ensure quality of work.
• Completes move-in inspections to verify readiness for occupancy.
• Completes vacancy checks to determine tenant status.
• Performs offsite assignments as directed by Maintenance.
• Assists with turning on utilities at properties.
• Takes photos of properties for ads.
• Meets with authorities to perform writs as required.
• Assists with Make Ready tasks as needed.
