Job summary

Real Property Management Preferred is looking for a dependable Field Inspector in the Houston area to support property maintenance and inspections. You will conduct walkthroughs, verify repairs, and perform move-in and vacancy checks while coordinating with contractors and management.

The role requires driving to multiple properties, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within a small team. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in vacant properties in the Houston area.
• Proven ability to measure and review reports.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Work hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Visits vacant properties to conduct walkthroughs, install lockboxes and lease signs.
• Assess vacant properties after contractors completed repairs to ensure quality of repairs.
• Completes move-in inspections to verify the property is performing as expected and is move-in ready.
• Completes vacancy checks to determine if the tenant has vacated.
• Completes other offsite assignments as directed by Maintenance.
• Assists with turning on utilities.
• Takes pictures of properties for ads.
• Meets with Constable Officers to perform writs.
• Assists with Make Ready tasks as needed.

The Position:

The Field Inspector responsibilities will include:
