Job summary

Real Property Management Preferred in Houston is seeking a Field Inspector to support property maintenance across the Houston area. You will visit vacant properties, document conditions, install lockboxes and signs, and assist with Make Ready tasks to ensure timely occupancy.

The ideal candidate works independently yet collaborates well with a small, supportive team in a family-run company with 30+ years of national experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
• Swipe works in vacant properties across Houston.
• Clear and effective written and oral communication.
• Comfortable collaborating with team members and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Visit vacant properties to conduct walkthroughs and install lockboxes and lease signs.
• Assess property condition after repairs to ensure quality.
• Complete move-in inspections for readiness.
• Perform vacancy checks and coordinate utility setup.
• Take photos for ads and assist with Make Ready tasks.

We will provide you with a highly motivated work environment and you’ll be strongly supported by the latest systems, technology and training.The Position:The Field Inspector responsibilities will include:Visits vacant properties to conduct walkthroughs, install lockboxes and lease signs.Assess vacant properties after contractors completed repairs to ensure quality of repairs.Completes move-in inspections to verify the property is performing as expected and is move-in ready.Completes vacancy checks to determine if the tenant has vacated.Completes other offsite assignments as directed by Maintenance.Assists with turning on utilities.Takes pictures of properties for ads.Meets with Constable Officers to perform writs.Assists with Make Ready tasks as needed.Qualifications· Ability to work independently in vacant properties in communities all over the Houston area· Proven ability to measure and review reports· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record· Work hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pmDesired Skills and Competencies· Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously· Strong oral and written communication skills· Must be able to effectively collaborate with others· A genuine passion for the real estate industry and or construction· Internal drive and motivation to grow and improve the success of the companyWhy You should Apply:· Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour· Opportunities for Career Growth· Company Health, Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits· 401k with a Company MatchApply today!
