Job summary

AmSpec Group in the United States is seeking a mid-level Inspector to perform field inspection and sampling, prepare paperwork, and coordinate sample distribution with office staff.

You will work with senior inspectors, follow API and IFIA procedures, and ensure timely reporting of findings while maintaining safety and quality in refinery and terminal environments. Occasional travel and shift flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years inspection experience or proficiency per AmSpec standards.
• IFIA certification preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspection and sampling following API and IFIA guidelines.
• Record measurements, temperatures, and product samples accurately.
• Prepare field reports and distribute to vessels, terminals, and office.
• Collaborate with senior inspectors and train junior staff as needed.
• Maintain equipment calibration and ensure safety procedures.
