Job summary

CESO, Inc. seeks an Inspector I to perform field inspections and office observations under direction of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager. The role combines fieldwork with office duties, documenting conditions and construction activity for client projects.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, communicating with designers, tracking daily progress, and supporting project leaders in planning and coordination. Travel to sites and safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) preferred.
• 0-5 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and document findings per client requirements.
• Interpret drawings and convey intent to contractor.
• Record daily progress in the Daily Field Report (DFR) and organize data.
• Coordinate with contractor and project team on status and concerns.
• Support Engineers and Project Managers in planning and coordination.
