Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking an Inspector I to perform field inspections and document findings while coordinating with design professionals.

This role blends field observations with office follow-up, supporting project managers and engineers on diverse infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, recording daily progress, ensuring data is stored properly, and assisting with design changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 0–5 years related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10/Safe Land certification preferred or to be obtained upon hire.
• First Aid & CPR certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and document findings per client requirements.
• Interpret specifications and drawings; communicate to contractor.
• Support design staff with RFIs and design changes.
• Record daily progress in the Daily Field Report (DFR).
• Ensure field data and reports are saved to CESO's server.
• Coordinate with contractor and CESO Project Manager on status.
• Assist engineers and PMs with planning and coordination of projects.
• Perform redline mark-ups as directed.
• Walk sites for pavement and oil & gas projects; document observations.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and attend daily safety meetings.
