Job summary

Consolidated Engineering Laboratories (CEL) seeks a Group 1 Inspector for our Aiea, HI team. Responsibilities include reading plans, maintaining field documentation, and ensuring code compliance. Candidates should be prepared for occasional overtime and travel.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a 4-year Earth Science or Engineering degree being a plus. Certifications in ACI Grade 1 and ICC reinforced concrete are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Must be able to write daily reports and maintain field documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plans and specs for assignments.
• Maintain organized field files with data, reports, and test sheets.
• Ensure compliance with current grading ordinances and building codes.
• Communicate daily with supervisor and project manager about field operations.
