WSB is seeking an Inspector, Distribution Utilities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory standards for construction projects. The role involves field inspections, documentation, and coordinating with project teams to maintain operational excellence across field operations.

The position emphasizes OSHA/NESC/state regulations, client relations, and reporting via iPad, with travel within the assigned territory and on-site work at WSB offices as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in construction/underground utility/related fields.
• Knowledge of OSHA, PHMSA, NESC, and state utility regulations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• AWS CPWI or CPWI+V certification preferred; API 1169 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards across project sites.
• Inspect gas pipeline work, joint fusion, leak surveys, backfilling, compaction, trenching, and restoration.
• Complete daily inspection reports using a company-provided iPad.
• Read and follow project plans and procedures; track materials and quantities.
• Coordinate with onsite crews, discuss plans with customers, and address concerns.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions are identified and coordinate corrective steps.
• Perform data entry and create as-built documentation; use Excel/Adobe tools.
