Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting seeks a Construction Representative / Field Inspector to support electric utility roadway restoration and infrastructure projects across New York City. This role will work closely with contractors and internal project teams to monitor field activities, ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project requirements, and maintain accurate construction documentation.

The position is based in Manhattan with a night shift (11 PM–7 AM).

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in construction inspection or related fields.
Ability to read construction drawings and project documentation.
Willingness to work both in field and office.

Responsibilities

Provide daily field oversight of contractor crews during milling and paving.
Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and briefings.
Monitor contractor performance for specs and safety standards.
Inspect utility structures and roadway components before, during and after construction.
Verify quantities and assist with contractor payments.
Prepare daily field reports with photos and sketches.
Document deficiencies and safety concerns for leadership.
Serve as field liaison among contractors, project teams and agencies.
Upload field documentation and work orders using Maximo/CWorks.
