Job summary

LEMOINE seeks a Construction Inspector to join our Florida disaster recovery team. Based in the Tampa Bay area, the role supports residential inspection and documentation across CDBG-DR housing recovery programs, traveling to disaster-affected homes throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and surrounding counties.

You will conduct interior, exterior, crawlspace, attic, and roof assessments, document findings, and verify work completed per scope and codes while coordinating with general contractors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• 2-3 years in residential construction, inspection, or related field.
• Knowledge of building trades and HUD CDBG-DR housing programs preferred.
• Ability to travel to scattered residential sites in Tampa Bay and Florida.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive residential inspections (interior, exterior, crawlspace, attic, roof).
• Document findings via photos, reports, checklists, and scope notes.
• Perform in-progress and final inspections to verify work matches scope and codes.
• Coordinate with contractors and homeowners; communicate inspection results.
• Maintain complete project files with photos and sign-off docs.
• Track inspection status and provide updates to supervision.
